    Yes in scripture it does say you shouldnt and it be better to not get together with a non christian but no where does it say go date a guy if hes a complete u know what head just because he claims hes christian in that case then i dont see that guy as being a real christian just a false claimer if hes a complete u know what head.

    Hey hey hey, hold up. The problem here is the standpoint. You have to approach Christian dating from a Christian standpoint, not a secular one, to understand why dating a nonChristian is …not okay. I really don’t think the focus should be on ‘oh hey, God will condemn me for this’, but on that Christ is the center of your life, and if your potential datee shares that with you, you already have so much in common and have a good friend you can both go to to work out kinks in the relationship.

    oh but wait, it says IN SCRIPTURE that you are to not mix unequal yolks…meaning if a christian and a non christian get together (regardless of their own feelings) is considered a sin.
    its bullshit, because what its saying is no, you cant love this guy your attached to, you have to love this guy over here who is a complete fuck head, but since he’s a christian its all okay and you will go to heavan….sounds like a cult philosophy to me.

    actually that was in the old testament. the new doesn’t say it’s sinful, but it is easier to date people that have the same beliefs and ideals you do.
